My research interest in Prof. Ziegler's group was the Molecular modeling of the heterogeneous polymerization catalysts. We have tried to built a model for the active site of the Ziegler-Natta catalytic center. Usind QM/MM method we have calculated some model taking into account the presence of Lewis Base and the surface of the catalyst.
